Robert W. Stewart, P.A.
The firm's principal, Robert W. Stewart, Esquire, has been engaged in the practice of law for almost five decades. Robert concentrates his practice currently in international business transactions and banking law. Robert was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1963 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1995. He is admitted to the bar of all state courts in Florida and D.C. as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Robert obtained his A.B. degree from the University of North Carolina and an LL.B. degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He has continuously practiced law in South Florida since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1963 and has been a member of various prominent Miami law firms.
Robert was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and spent his early years in Latin America. He is totally fluent in both written and spoken Spanish. He is the husband of Consuelo Stewart, a real estate broker in Coral Gables, the father of three adult children, and a grandfather.
Robert W. Stewart, P.A. is a separate law firm from Henkel & Cohen, P.A. The "Of Counsel" designation is used to describe the relationship between the two firms in jointly representing certain common clients on specified matters. Robert W. Stewart, P.A. and its principal, Robert W. Stewart, Esquire, are not attorneys employed by Henkel & Cohen, P.A. Further, Tim Henkel and Ira Cohen are not attorneys employed by Robert W. Stewart, P.A.
